About this tender
This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is seeking a Program Manager to support its ICT Transition Program, which will transition the Agency from an existing shared services arrangement to a fit-for-purpose ICT operating model aligned with the Agency's national footprint, strategic priorities, and service delivery needs. The Role The Program Manager will undertake the following activities to support the Agency's transition: Mobilise and lead the ICT transformation program Develop and implement a detailed mobilisation and delivery plan to guide the early stages of the transformation Define program structure, timelines, and resource requirements, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities Establish governance and reporting frameworks Lead the development of governance structures and reporting mechanisms to support oversight and decision-making Prepare program dashboards, steering committee packs, and escalation pathways for risks and issues Coordinate stakeholder engagement and communications Design and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy to ensure clear communication across internal teams, executive leadership, and external partners Manage expectations, facilitate workshops, and prepare executive-level briefings Oversee technical transition design and transition planning Work closely with technical leads to coordinate the design of the ICT transition approach and the development of a transition roadmap Sequence activities, identify dependencies, and ensure alignment with operational needs Manage risks, issues, and dependencies Maintain a program-level risk and issues register, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place and regularly reviewed Monitor interdependencies across workstreams and adjust plans as needed to maintain momentum Provide strategic advice and recommendations Support executive decision-making by preparing briefings, options papers, and recommendations based on program progress, risks, and emerging opportunities Contribute to internal capability planning and future-state operating model design Enquiries Buyer contact: ICTprocurement@niaa.gov.au
