Public Toilet Upgrade Work at Downer – Construction Contractor Services

Overview The City and Environment Directorate (ACT) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified construction contractor to deliver the Public Toilet Upgrade Works, including associated external works, at the Downer local shopping precinct. Scope The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials, plant, supervision, temporary works and subcontractors necessary to complete the works. The scope includes: Site establishment, temporary fencing, public protection and construction access Demolition and removal of the existing amenities building and nominated footpaths Disconnection, isolation and capping of redundant services Construction of the new accessible amenities building and services room New hydraulic, electrical and associated building services New sewer line, manhole and connection to the existing sewer within Melba Street, to Icon Water requirements New pedestrian footpaths, kerb crossings and accessible connections New landscaped seating areas, garden beds and associated site works Reinstatement of all areas disturbed by the construction works Testing, commissioning, certification and handover of the completed facility Enquiries For all enquiries, contact the Tenders ACT Team: Phone: +61 (02) 62079000 Email: tendersact@act.gov.au
