This Tender is invited by the Issuer. The Major Sourcing - Future Workplace section (the Section), within the Department of Home Affairs, provides the Department with specialist sourcing and transition services to deliver the Future Workplace arrangement from a sourcing program into business-as-usual operations. This includes: Sourcing strategy development; Market approaches for complex, high value technology acquisitions Expert transition management ensuring seamless implementation with minimal disruption to stakeholders Overall program governance to ensure transparency and successful delivery of major ICT transition to a BAU function. Over the past two years, the Section has been delivering the Future Workplace Program (FWP), FWP seek to market test and replace the core Selected IT Services arrangement. The result of the sourcing program will deliver modern updated workplace technology to departmental personnel, incorporating the various ways and locations the Department delivers services to the Australian public, in an efficient, effective and economical manner. Due to the complexity and substantial amount of work required to complete this sourcing activity, the Section requires the continuation of specialist resources to support the FWP throughout all stages of the sourcing phase. Sellers should that this RFQ is to support the conclusion of a sourcing program that is nearing completion.
