This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is seeking an Interaction Designer to work as an ITS Dashboard Designer, leading the design and development of interactive dashboards that present data on the VET workforce. About The dashboard will present integrated administrative data from ABS PLIDA and survey data from the Student Outcomes Survey. Purpose The dashboard aims to support the VET Workforce Strategy project by visualising indicators of the VET workforce, including its size and composition. The designer will play a key role in shaping how this data is presented to stakeholders, ensuring clarity, usability, and impact. The Role Lead the design and development of interactive dashboards that communicate complex data on the VET workforce in a clear, engaging, and accessible way Apply user-centred design principles to create intuitive interfaces that support the VET Workforce Blueprint, Data Strategy project, and other strategic initiatives Focus on interface design, user experience, and front-end prototyping, rather than data engineering or analysis Work within a high-performing digital multidisciplinary team to design and deliver a data visualisation tool Work closely with other designers in the team and take guidance or instructions as needed
