This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is seeking 1 x EL2 Platform Engineering Solution Architect on a Labour Hire basis. The role is accountable, under broad direction, for undertaking complex, hands-on platform architecture and engineering design work that delivers secure, scalable and reusable technology capabilities across the NDIA. The Role The role includes: Undertaking complex, hands-on platform architecture and engineering design work delivering secure, scalable and reusable technology capabilities across the NDIA Exercising independence in complex problem-solving, issues management and technical decision-making Providing high-level architectural and technical advice, detailed solution designs, reference implementations, engineering patterns, platform guardrails and operationally supportable solutions aligned with NDIA objectives and strategic priorities, enterprise architecture reference models, ICT strategies and technology roadmaps, cyber security standards and requirements, cloud governance and compliance frameworks, and industry standards and leading practices Coordinating and assuming technical ownership of varied, detailed or sensitive projects that may involve multiple, complex and unrelated processes Providing practical architecture and engineering direction for the design, implementation and ongoing enhancement of core technology platforms supporting Agency systems and services Working collaboratively with business areas, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Services, Cyber Security, data engineering, delivery teams, development teams and platform engineering stakeholders to translate tactical and strategic objectives into practical, buildable and operationally supportable solutions Working directly with technical teams to design, prototype, test, validate and evolve platform capabilities Supporting secure self-service, consistent delivery practices and an improved developer experience across the Digital Enrolments, Access and Payments (DEAP) domain and other parallel Agency initiatives Creating and communicating technically sound, robust and secure platform and solution designs Representing proposed architectures, implementation options and engineering trade-offs through technical workshops, peer reviews, governance councils and approval forums Managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and, where required, representing and negotiating on behalf of the NDIA to advance the Agency's interests across a range of forums Eligibility Citizenship: As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, NDIA seeks Labour Hire Workers who are Australian citizens only. Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the Pre-engagement Check Labour Hire Licence: Applicable for ACT, VIC and QLD, labour hire licences are required in the state that specified personnel are being contracted How to Apply The proposed rate should reflect the candidate's skills and experience against the Evaluation Criteria. Candidates that do not demonstrate these criteria will not be assessed. Candidates should be aware that rates may be negotiated further as part of the selection process.
