This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking a Manager - Strategy and Content (SFIA 5) to support the development, alignment and implementation of portfolio and departmental strategies that shape the Department's future direction, capabilities and transformation priorities. The Role The role brings together strategic design, human-centred design, business architecture, systems thinking and stakeholder engagement to connect government and departmental priorities with the needs of people, providers, workforce and the broader health, disability and aged care ecosystem. Working across organisational and portfolio boundaries, the role contributes to major strategies and implementation plans, including the Data and Digital Strategy, ICT Strategy and related Data, AI, Cyber and technology planning. It helps translate strategic intent into clear priorities, future states, capabilities, investment considerations and practical pathways for implementation. Role Requirements Key Capabilities Experience developing and implementing organisational, portfolio, digital, technology or transformation strategies Advanced human-centred and strategic design capability, including research, synthesis, systems thinking, future-state design and facilitation Understanding of business architecture and the relationship between strategy, capabilities, services, processes, information and technology Strong strategic analysis, synthesis and problem-framing skills Ability to translate complex policy, business, technology and experience issues into clear strategic choices and recommendations Experience developing strategies, implementation plans, roadmaps, future states and transformation priorities Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation capability, including working with senior executives and multidisciplinary teams Ability to work across complex organisational and ecosystem boundaries and bring structure to ambiguous, interconnected problems Understanding of transformation within complex service environments, preferably within government Enquiries Buyer contact: DigitalServicesLabourHire@Health.gov.au
