Overview The National Disability Insurance Agency is seeking a Principal Director to join its Technology and Data Division, which delivers and operates technology solutions supporting Agency priorities, business outcomes, and participant outcomes. The Role The Director, reporting to the Branch Manager, is responsible for leading a product-based technology team to deliver, operate, support, and continuously improve high-quality technology products and services. The role includes: End-to-end accountability across the product lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, release, production support, service performance, incident management, continuous improvement, and ongoing product health Working closely with Product Owners, architects, delivery partners, and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into clear delivery outcomes Ensuring work remains aligned with agreed product roadmaps, enterprise architecture strategies, security requirements, and technology standards Contributing to the delivery of complex technology programs and initiatives by managing product priorities, dependencies, risks, issues, and competing demands across multiple teams and stakeholders Providing strategic and operational leadership to multidisciplinary teams working in an agile and DevOps environment Building workforce capability, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, accountable, and outcome-focused culture Championing business and participant outcomes, service reliability, and customer experience Promoting the responsible use of artificial intelligence, automation, and modern engineering practices across the Software Development Lifecycle
