This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Digital Business Division. The role is required to ensure continuity of development capability, uplift code quality and maintainability, and support timely delivery of priority outcomes in line with the STEPS (Simplified Targeting and Enhanced Processing Systems) delivery model and governance expectations. About The Digital Business Division is the custodian of customer experience, ensuring seamless, secure, and trusted interactions for agricultural trade and biosecurity. Its platforms and products support permits, audits, certifications, declarations, and compliance checks, connecting industry and government. The division is unifying and modernising its systems and building re-usable digital capabilities to give customers a unified service experience, one place to access government services anytime and anywhere. The Simplified Targeting and Enhanced Processing Systems (STEPS) program is a multi-disciplinary team that performs analysis on how digital services and products can better meet user needs. Purpose The division's purpose is to deliver digital and data services that make agricultural cross border trade and travel easier, safer, and stronger for Australia.
