Liverpool City Council is seeking expressions of interest from performers who would like to perform at next year's Motherland African Festival event held in April 2027. Motherland African Festival is a two-day event taking place from Saturday 10 April & Sunday 11 April 2027. For one weekend only, Motherland African Festival will showcase the tastes, colours, sounds and customs of this incredible continent. Experience all the best that Africa has to offer at Macquarie Mall – from a mainstage show to African delicacies, as well as handcrafted clothing and artisanal goods. From Morocco to Zimbabwe, follow the sounds of the drums and join us on a journey to Africa! Event Details Date: Saturday 10 April & Sunday 11 April 2027 Time: 5pm- 10pm Location: Macquarie Mall Please ensure the below points are considered before completing the Performer EOI: Performers have the option to perform on either day (Saturday or Sunday) or on multiple days at the discretion of Liverpool City Council Events Team. Performers need to provide a full detailed outline of their performers, number of performers and rates. Performances that are culturally relevant to the event theme.
