About this tender

Overview Tamworth Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from artisan and charitable organisation stallholders to operate a stall at the 2027 Tamworth Country Music Festival. Eligibility Artisan Stallholders Designers, makers, and artists whose products are original, of high quality, well presented, and made entirely in Australia Items sold must be bespoke and made by the artist, with the maker personally attending the festival At least 80% of stock must be handmade or crafted Works may include, but are not limited to, clothing, art, handmade items, leather belts, dog leads, upcycled jewellery made from household items, and artworks on canvas, saw blade, and glass created with brush, spray can, and palette knife Charitable Organisations The organisation must be established in the Tamworth Local Government Area (LGA) or include the Tamworth region in its catchment Any proposed activity at the festival must provide direct benefit to the Tamworth region and its community Contractor Requirements Operating Hours Minimum stall hours are 9am to 5pm every day of the Festival, and stallholders are encouraged to remain open from 5pm to 10pm daily Assessment of Applications Items must not include TCMF wording or logo, Tamworth Country Music Festival words or images, or Golden Guitar words or images, in accordance with trademark law Preference will be given to quality, unique, and interesting products rather than novelties Special consideration will be given to stallholders that display inclusion and accessibility in their setup, including easier access for ordering and receiving goods at ground level The quality of the stall setup and how goods are displayed will be assessed A full list of all items for sale must be included with the application Payment of stall fees by the due date is required; an Expression of Interest cannot be considered where any outstanding funds are owed to TCMF or Tamworth Regional Council Behaviour of staff for previous stallholders will be taken into account Compliance with requests from festival organisers for previous stallholders will be taken into account Compliance with all terms and conditions for previous stallholders will be taken into account Contract Terms and Conditions Artisan Fees (inc. GST), for 10 days only, maximum of 9 metres wide (3 sites) $710 for a 3m x 3m space (charged per 3 metre site) with own marquee $465 for a 3m x 3m space for Tamworth region residents (charged per 3 metre site) with own marquee $2300 for a 3m x 3m space with a marquee supplied by TCMF Charitable Organisation Fees (inc. GST) $295 for each 3m x 3m space only, 10 day rate, with own marquee $62 for a one day/one off event only, 3m x 3m space, daily rate, with own marquee All applications are subject to the Artisan/Charitable Organisation Stall Terms and Conditions (PDF 223.1KB). Information Requested Applicants should have the following at hand before applying: A scanned or photographed copy of Public Liability Insurance policy or certificate, with $20 million coverage, with dates covering the full 10 day Festival A digital photo of the stall and/or goods sold, along with a list of goods for sale If applying for the Local Trading Fee, a scanned or photographed copy of a rates notice or other document showing a home address If applying for a Charitable Organisation Stall, a copy of documentation confirming not for profit status or a Charitable Fundraising Authority Certificate The preferred format for scanned or photographed images or documents is PDF (Adobe Acrobat), though JPEG, DOC, and DOCX are also accepted. Instructions to Tenderers All applicants will be contacted via email after the closing date, in the week commencing 12 October 2026, to be informed of the outcome of their Expression of Interest. If successful, businesses will receive their invoice via email in the week commencing 26 October 2026.
