4 Systems Analysts

Overview The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking 4 Systems Analysts to work as part of an Agile project team, designing, developing, and supporting business solutions and creating detailed technical specifications. About The Applications team currently operates in a DevOps model within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). In this DevOps model, delivery and operational responsibility are assigned within scrum teams. The Role The role includes: Working as part of a highly motivated and cohesive team to design, develop, and support business solutions using Agile approaches by creating highly specialised technical specifications Working as part of a scrum team to deliver solutions and being responsible for populating the product backlog via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information Working closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and using this understanding to determine business requirements for systems Using a range of analysis techniques to document detailed business requirements and evaluate options for solution Facilitating workshops with business stakeholders and the development team to ensure a common understanding of requirements Using analysis techniques such as user journeys, use cases, user stories with acceptance criteria, process mapping, and process flow diagrams Working closely with architects, technical development leads, solution design leads, UX design leads, product owners, and vendor partners to establish business and technical requirements and drive them through successful and on-time delivery of functionality and optimisations Facilitating discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders and developing quality documentation, including requirements, epics, features and product backlog items, reports, management plans, procedure documentation, and testing plans Role Requirements A proactive and can-do attitude A strong understanding of Agile Ways of Working, with the ability to collaborate effectively under the direction of the EL2, Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, and Team Leader to define requirements and create detailed technical specifications that support innovative business solutions Enquiries Buyer contact: DigitalServicesLabourHire@Health.gov.au
