This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) is seeking 6 Senior Business Analysts. Business Analysts are required to understand business processes and determine business requirements for systems. The Role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be required to: Work with business subject matter experts and IT teams to analyse requirements, clarify underlying business needs and confirm outcomes through workshops, interviews and stakeholder discussions Document business, functional and non-functional requirements in clear formats that can be understood by business, executive, design, development and testing stakeholders, including business requirements documents and user stories for Agile projects Guide junior team members where required, delegating work and providing practical support to help achieve project outcomes Develop user interface concepts using User-Centred Design (UCD) principles and practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and Australian Government accessibility and usability guidelines Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as required Work professionally, positively and cooperatively as part of ASIC, and model the values of Accountability, Professionalism and Teamwork Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for the health and safety of others who may be affected by your actions in the workplace Develop process maps, including as-is process analysis and to-be process designs Quickly understand ASIC's business structure, strategy and operating context, and apply that knowledge to team priorities and delivery work Support testing preparation and execution, including requirements traceability and defect clarification Support UAT preparation and system implementation, including the development of user guidance, training material and implementation support artefacts Manage your own performance and, where applicable, support junior Business Analysts to deliver against ASIC's strategic priorities and team business plan
