1 Senior Cyber Analyst

Overview The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is seeking a highly motivated and organised APS6 Cyber Analyst to join its Cyber Uplift team within the Digital branch. The Role The role includes: Applying advanced cyber security knowledge to deliver technical project components Conducting security assessments and implementing security controls Providing specialist input to enable evidence-based decision-making throughout the project lifecycle Contributing to project planning and execution, including defining technical requirements Conducting security testing and preparing compliance documentation Delivering technical workstreams to strengthen the Commission's security posture in accordance with relevant legislation and Commission policies and procedures Translating complex technical analysis into clear, actionable intelligence and recommendations Preparing decision-ready briefings, risk assessments and options papers that inform project direction and support evidence-based security improvements Role Requirements Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to think outside the box Ability to exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures Eligibility Candidates must be an Australian citizen Candidates must have the ability to obtain a baseline security clearance
