About this tender

Overview The Hunter, New England, and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN) invites general practices to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the AI Communications (AI Comms) twelve (12) month pilot program. The pilot is a targeted, test-and-learn initiative that will support selected practices to trial AI-enabled patient communication and reception tools within non-clinical, front-of-practice workflows. Scope The pilot will explore how AI can support routine administrative tasks, including: Phone calls Appointment booking and rescheduling Reminders Follow-ups FAQs After-hours enquiries Escalation to practice staff where required Objectives It is envisaged that the pilot initiative will enable project staff to: Test and validate AI Communications solutions in real world general practice settings Measure system usage and adoption across practices Assess usability and workflow integration within practice operations Evaluate the impact on administrative workload and efficiency Assess changes in patient access and communication performance Funding Fourteen (14) accredited General Practices will be selected to participate in the pilot, with funding of up to $10,000 (excluding GST) provided to each selected practice to support access to AI Comms tools for the 12-month period.
