About this tender
Overview The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) provides cyber security advice and services to government, critical infrastructure and industry. As part of this function, ASD is releasing the ASD Essentials series of technical guidance for the protection of enterprise technology networks. ASD is seeking to engage Training Organisation(s) to deliver ASD-owned Essentials Series training course/s. Purpose The purpose of this approach to market is to identify suitably qualified and experienced training organisations with the capability and capacity to deliver ASD's new Essentials Series training course/s to third-party organisations. ASD may engage multiple training organisations to provide the services. Scope The scope includes: Course facilitation: delivering the Essentials for Enterprise IT training packages in line with ASD set course objectives and technical specifications, including practical activities in a simulated lab environment, delivering presentation materials and facilitating group discussions Administering and marking assessment activities Course enablement and administration: communications with prospective Essentials training participants, supporting prospective participants to understand course offerings Screening prospective participants for course suitability and enrolling them into training courses At times, promoting ASD-led Essentials Series promotions Contractor Requirements Training organisations must bid against all elements of course facilitation, enablement and administration stated in the scope Suitably qualified and experienced training organisations with the capability and capacity to deliver the training course/s Contract Terms and Conditions Successful Training Organisation(s) may be invited to enter into a non-exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ASD to formalise arrangements for access to course content and course delivery Entry into an MoU and designation as an Approved Course Delivery Provider does not guarantee that the Provider will be offered, awarded or engaged to deliver the ASD new Essentials Series training The MoU does not create any obligation on ASD or any third party to engage the Provider, nor does it guarantee any minimum volume of work, revenue or iterations of course delivery Any future engagement to deliver the training will be subject to the requirements and decisions of the relevant third-party organisation and will be separately negotiated and contracted between the Provider and that organisation Approved Course Delivery Providers will be responsible for establishing their own commercial arrangements, including pricing and contractual terms, directly with the relevant party Selection of an Approved Course Delivery Provider provides an opportunity to be considered for future course delivery engagements but should not be interpreted as a commitment or assurance that any such engagement will occur Enquiries Project Contact: asd.irap@defence.gov.au
