Overview Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced contractors to upgrade the existing lighting within the Bowral Library. Scope Linear Ceiling Lights (32 units) The removal and retrofitting of the 32 existing linear ceiling light fittings shall follow a staged approach: Trial fitting (hold point): removal, conversion from halogen to LED, and re-installation of one prototype fitting to verify compatibility and performance, including all necessary testing to confirm the retrofitted luminaires meet relevant AS/NZS standards, including minimum illuminance (lux) levels and uniformity ratios Full rollout: conversion of the remaining 31 fittings upon successful evaluation, post-conversion lux testing, and Council approval of the prototype Contingency: if retrofitting the sample fitting proves unviable, full removal of existing fittings and supply and installation of complete new LED luminaires Downlights (31 units) Removal and conversion of the 31 existing halogen downlight fittings to LED, with re-installation upon completion of conversion Contractor Requirements Appropriately qualified and experienced in lighting retrofit and installation works Enquiries Contact: Kristian Draxl Email: procurement@wsc.nsw.gov.au Phone: 1300 680 888
