Overview Carriageworks Ltd is inviting tenders from experienced and innovative Food and Beverage operators for the exclusive operation and management of hospitality services across the Carriageworks precinct. About Carriageworks welcomes more than 800,000 visitors annually and is one of Australia's leading multi-arts precincts, presenting a year-round program spanning contemporary arts, live music, performance, markets, major cultural events, commercial events and private venue hire. Major music events at the precinct can attract audiences of more than 5,500 patrons per event, requiring significant high-volume hospitality capability. Scope The scope includes: Operation of the Carriageworks Cafe and Theatre Bar Food and beverage services for major concerts and Carriageworks-presented programs Retail and catering services across commercial events, venue hires and public and private programs Objectives The successful Operator will work closely with Carriageworks to: Enhance the visitor experience Maximise food and beverage revenue Support commercial growth Integrate brand partnerships Continually improve the precinct's hospitality offering Contractor Requirements Demonstrated experience in high-volume event operations, venue hospitality, catering and business development A commercially focused approach to the partnership Information Requested Tenderers are required to submit their proposed commercial model as part of their response. Contract Terms and Conditions The commercial model will operate on a gross revenue commission basis, with the successful Operator retaining an agreed share of gross food and beverage revenue and Carriageworks receiving an agreed commission The contract is expected to commence in February 2027 for an initial three year term An option for a further three years is available at Carriageworks discretion The appointment will coincide with Carriageworks 20th anniversary in 2027 and a significant year of programming and precinct activity You will need to register for a free Adcentre account here in order to download the documents.
