Overview Hunter New England Central Coast PHN (HNECC Ltd) invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to establish, manage and deliver the Medicare Mental Health Centre (MMHC) service in Cessnock (Small Centre) and Charlestown (Full Centre). Purpose The MMHC program provides visible, walk-in access to immediate, short to medium term mental health support for adults experiencing psychological distress or crisis. The model is built on lived experience integration, ensuring trauma informed, recovery oriented and person centred care that addresses both clinical and psychosocial needs. Scope The scope includes: Establishing, managing and delivering the MMHC service at Cessnock (Small Centre) and Charlestown (Full Centre) Providing on the spot support and initial assessments for adults experiencing psychological distress or crisis Delivering brief therapeutic intervention and psychosocial support Providing coordinated navigation to ongoing care through a multidisciplinary team Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced organisation capable of establishing, managing and delivering the MMHC service model
