Overview NSW Public Works is seeking a contractor for a Design Development and Construction Contract to finalise the design and carry out repairs to 2 levee sites in Ulmarra and 3 levee sites in Maclean. Objectives Restoration of levee systems to the required design standard to maintain effective flood protection Improved resilience of flood mitigation infrastructure to withstand future flood events Delivery of works across multiple sites in a coordinated and efficient manner Scope The scope includes: Design development and remediation of 2 levee sites in Ulmarra Design development and remediation of 3 levee sites in Maclean The works are broken into 2 packages, with tenderers able to price one or both packages. Contract Terms and Conditions All works must be completed by the end of May 2027 Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A mandatory online pre-tender meeting is scheduled: Date: Tuesday 29/09/2026 Time: 9:00AM Format: Virtual briefing (Online - Microsoft Teams) You must register your attendance with the RFT Contact Person by 2pm Friday the 25th of September to receive a meeting invitation. In addition to the mandatory briefing, there will be an optional opportunity to attend site with Public Works and Clarence Valley Council. Details will be confirmed via an addendum. Notifications To receive notifications (addenda etc.), suppliers must either save this opportunity to their dashboard or start a draft response. Lodging a Response You must lodge your tender via the buy NSW Tenders platform. You must not submit your tender via email. Late submissions cannot be accepted, so it is suggested that submissions be uploaded earlier in the day, as delays and disallowed files may be experienced.
