Coburg Road Rehabilitation

Overview Hawkesbury City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the rehabilitation of a section of Coburg Road, Wilberforce, between Old Sackville Road and Macquarie Road. About Recent pavement investigations identified deterioration within the existing pavement structure, requiring full depth rehabilitation to restore the road to an acceptable service level and extend the operational life of the asset. Survey, pavement investigations, geotechnical assessments, detailed design and construction documentation have been completed by Council. Purpose The project forms part of Council's ongoing road asset renewal program and is funded under the SRV (Special Rate Variation) works program. Scope The scope includes: Full depth rehabilitation of the pavement on the identified section of Coburg Road, Wilberforce Maintaining safe access to adjoining properties throughout construction Minimising disruption to residents and road users during construction Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in road rehabilitation works
