About this tender
Overview Transport for NSW is seeking a contractor to provide routine, reactive and ordered maintenance of the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and UPS battery systems located within the control buildings associated with the Coffs Harbour Tunnels. About The Coffs Harbour Bypass tunnel infrastructure comprises Roberts Hill Tunnel, Shephards Lane Tunnel and Gatelys Road Tunnel. The tunnels are expected to open to traffic in December 2026 as part of the Coffs Harbour Bypass Project. Scope The scope includes the provision of all labour, supervision, transport, tools, equipment, consumables and materials necessary to inspect, test, service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and report on the performance and condition of the UPS assets, to ensure they remain safe, reliable and fully operational throughout the Contract period. The scope generally comprises but is not limited to: Undertaking preventive maintenance including testing, servicing and inspection as per Clause 1.1.1 and the attached maintenance manuals for the UPS Units, deemed Routine Work Undertaking corrective maintenance or repairs to the UPS Units for any faults that may occur during the contract period, to the service levels described in Clause 1.1.2, outside of the routine maintenance and inspection, deemed Ordered Work Providing detailed maintenance reports after each visit, including battery health reports, test results, and condition assessments as per Clause 1.2.4 Notifying the TfNSW representative of any observed defects, potential risks, or end-of-life components immediately during or after inspections Contract Terms and Conditions The warranty period for new parts and installations is 12 months Contractor Requirements Implementation and operation of Management Systems covering elements of quality, environment, safety, community, industrial relations, programming, records, etc All personnel engaged on the works must complete the RM Northern Tunnels Online Site Induction All personnel must be appropriately trained and in possession of appropriate tickets
