Scope Construction of a pedestrian refuge at First Avenue, Sawtell, NSW Contractor Requirements Suitably experienced and qualified in the construction of pedestrian refuges or similar civil works Contract Terms and Conditions The contract is intended to be awarded to a single contractor under an MW21 Minor Works General Conditions of Contract, a copy of which is supplied in Volume 3 of the RFT document package Site Inspection A site inspection has not been planned as part of this RFT process. However, the City is happy to arrange an inspection upon request, by a tenderer contacting the nominated contact in the Volume 1 document. Instructions to Tenderers RFT documents may be obtained free of charge after registration on the etender portal. Completed RFT responses are to be submitted via the electronic tender box only, using the editable MS Word document supplied at Volume 2 of the RFT document package. The City is not bound to accept the lowest priced RFT, or all or any part of the RFT, and reserves the right to conduct the RFT process and select the successful respondent as it sees most advantageous. City staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed, or emailed submissions will not be accepted. Canvassing of Councillors and members of City staff by a tenderer may render their tender submission ineligible for evaluation.
