About this tender
Overview Greater Hume Council is seeking tenders for the reconstruction of Swift Street, covering Stages 3 and 4 of the project. About The Swift Street Reconstruction project comprises a total of four stages. Stages 1 and 2 have been completed in previous years. This contract relates to Stage 3 and Stage 4, as shown on the contract drawings. Scope The scope includes: Construction of underground drainage Kerb and channel construction Pavement construction Ancillary works Undertaking construction in a manner that allows access to local residents and maintains 24-hour traffic flows, unless otherwise approved by Council Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A non-compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held on site. Date: Friday 14th August 2026 Time: 2pm Format: On-site, non-compulsory Tenderers may inspect the site at any time, however attendance at the non-compulsory site meeting is encouraged and advised. Instructions to Tenderers Tenderers are advised of the inclusion in the tender documents of relevant Work Health and Safety procedures and the GHSC Business Ethics Policy. Tenderers should read and understand these documents prior to submission of a tender. Any enquiries during the tender period must be directed via the etender portal. Formal questions must be put in writing on the etender forum.
