Overview Coffs Harbour City Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to fulfil City contract CON00832, Construction of the Pullen Street Zebra Crossing. The City anticipates this contract will be awarded to a single contractor. About Coffs Harbour is positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. It is a regional coastal city of approximately 85,000 people, nestled between the coastal slopes of the Great Dividing Range and 80 kilometres of beaches, and is recognised as a dynamic and rapidly expanding economic hub. Scope Construction of the Pullen Street Zebra Crossing Contract Terms and Conditions Works will be performed under the City's MW21 Conditions of Contract, a copy of which is supplied in the RFT document package. Site Inspection A site visit is offered to any proponent as part of this RFT. This is arranged by appointment only by contacting the nominated contact (see also the Volume 1 document). Instructions to Tenderers RFT documents may be obtained after registration on the etender portal Completed RFT responses are to be submitted via the electronic tender box only, using the editable MS Word document supplied in the RFT document package Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated upon completion The City is not bound to accept the lowest priced RFT, or all or any part of the RFT, and reserves the right to conduct the RFT process and select the successful respondent as it sees most advantageous. City staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed submissions will not be accepted. Canvassing of Councillors and members of City staff other than the nominated contact by a tenderer may render their tender submission ineligible for evaluation.
