Overview Murray River Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced engineering services consultants to undertake planning, investigation, assessment and design services to progress Council's wastewater infrastructure projects at Murray Downs, Moama and Barham. Scope The scope includes: Murray Downs WWTP Upgrade: undertaking an objective assessment of feasible long-term wastewater servicing options, including upgrade of the existing Murray Downs WWTP and transfer of wastewater to the Swan Hill WWTP, identifying and recommending the preferred servicing solution, and progressing the preferred solution through concept design, detailed design, statutory approvals and preparation of construction-ready tender documentation Moama WWTP Treatment Upgrades Stage 1: developing Council's approved Concept Design into a complete, coordinated and construction-ready Detailed Design, including the required civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control works, together with statutory approvals, cost estimates and tender documentation required to facilitate procurement and construction Barham WWTP Upgrade: undertaking a concept-level review and assessment of feasible long-term wastewater servicing options, including technical development of the options, capital and operating cost estimates, assessment of risks and approvals, financial and multi-criteria analysis, and recommendation of a preferred servicing option and the next steps required to progress that solution Coordinating all engineering, environmental, planning and specialist inputs necessary to deliver the respective project requirements Providing Council with robust, practical, maintainable and cost-effective solutions that address operational requirements, environmental compliance, future growth and whole-of-life value Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced engineering services consultant Instructions to Tenderers Refer to the Tender Documents for more detail of the Works.
