Overview Central Coast Council is seeking tenders for the engagement of a suitably qualified and experienced Design and Construction Works Contractor for the design and construction of public toilets at 326 – 328 Tuggerawong Road, Tuggerawong. About This amenity public toilet construction project forms part of the Public Toilet Strategy administered by Central Coast Council's Project and Asset Management Unit, which aims to ensure public toilets are safe, clean and easily accessible. Objectives The Public Toilet Strategy has the following purpose and objectives: Ensure that existing toilet facilities with aging infrastructure can be replaced with safer and accessible facilities Ensure the construction of amenities buildings and other associated works to improve the existing park/reserve areas Encourage the community to participate in active and passive recreation activities Enhance social enterprises with these new amenities and increase disabled accessibility in accordance with the National Construction Code (NCC) / Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliance An opportunity to design using recycled materials, energy saving fittings and similar sustainable elements Scope Design and construction of public toilets at 326 – 328 Tuggerawong Road, Tuggerawong Tender Briefing A non-mandatory tender briefing will be held for this opportunity. Date: 15 September 2026 Time: 9am Location: 326 – 328 Tuggerawong Road, Tuggerawong Status: Non-mandatory Pre-registration is required by emailing the contact officer, Nicola Abela (Nicola.Abela@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au), no later than 4pm 19 June 2026 with the names and organisation of those attending. Instructions to Tenderers Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender (reference CPA/7070) as a basis for entering a contract with the preferred tenderer. Council may, in its absolute discretion, either accept the tender that, having regard to all the circumstances, appears to Council to be the most advantageous, or decline to accept any of the tenders.
