Overview The Hills Shire Council is seeking appropriately qualified and experienced respondents to provide clothing collection, donation and recycling services for promotion to residential strata within the local government area. Scope The works and services covered by this EOI include, but are not limited to, the following: Provision of clothing collection, donation and/or textile recycling services suitable for multi-unit residential complexes, including apartments and mixed-use developments Engagement with strata managers, building managers and/or owners corporations to arrange service delivery Collection methods that may include on-site collection points, scheduled pick-ups, temporary collection drives, or alternative innovative models appropriate for strata settings Environmentally responsible handling of collected textiles, including reuse, resale, donation, recycling and ethical disposal pathways Provision of clear information to strata managers regarding accepted items, collection processes and end-use outcomes Contractor Requirements Compliance with applicable legislation, local planning controls, WHS requirements and building access requirements
