Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (NSW) is seeking to establish a panel arrangement for the provision of weed and pest tree control services across geographical areas within the NPWS Southern Ranges, under a schedule of rates on an as-required basis. Purpose The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) aims to establish a panel of suppliers for the control of weeds and pest trees on the estate that it manages, to assist with meeting its legislative and other management responsibilities. Scope Contractors are required to undertake control of weeds and pest trees in all situations within reserves managed by the NPWS Southern Ranges Branch, including along roadsides, in and around picnic and camping areas, in easily accessible grassland and/or bushland areas, and in difficult to access remote areas. Details provided to the contractor will include the control method, chemical mix (herbicide, wetting agent and/or marker dye), weed or tree species targeted, the location and extent of the work area, and any additional environmental or social requirements for the program.
