Overview Goulburn Mulwaree Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors to provide a trial bulky waste kerbside collection service for eligible residential properties in Goulburn and Marulan that are levied for a three-bin domestic kerbside collection service in the 2025/26 financial year. There are currently approximately 12,500 eligible properties. About Council previously advertised Tender 2526T0009 for this service, which closed on 17 July 2026; however, a contract was not awarded. As the likely take-up rate by eligible residents is unknown, Council cannot provide assurance regarding the number of collections that may be required. Scope The scope includes: Provision of a trial bulky waste kerbside collection service for eligible residential properties in Goulburn and Marulan levied for a three-bin domestic kerbside collection service in the 2025/26 financial year Collection of up to two cubic metres (2 m³) of eligible bulky household waste per property, inclusive of whitegoods and steel Collection and recovery for recycling of whitegoods and steel placed in a separate pile by residents Contractor Requirements Public Liability insurance of $20 million Safety documentation meeting the relevant contract specifications Environmental controls meeting the relevant contract specifications Council will need to confirm that all required insurances, safety documentation and environmental controls meet the relevant contract specifications prior to engagement.
