Overview Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is delivering the HW4 P0078552 Log Creek Pavement Rehabilitation Project on the Snowy Mountains Highway within the Snowy Valleys Council Local Government Area. TfNSW is seeking a contractor to provide a licensed waste disposal facility for materials generated by the project. Purpose The project aims to improve road safety and network performance through a range of upgrades, including pavement widening, intersection improvements, installation and upgrading of safety barriers, culvert extensions and reconstruction, and enhancements to surface drainage systems. Scope The scope includes: Disposal of spoil material generated by earthworks Disposal of concrete waste arising from the removal of stormwater pits, pipe culvert units, headwalls, and kerbs Disposal of weed-contaminated vegetation, root balls, mulch, topsoil and spoil that may arise during clearing, excavation and drainage works, as a provisional item Disposal of all waste materials at a licensed waste facility in accordance with relevant environmental and regulatory requirements Provision of access to the disposal facility during weekday working hours to accommodate ongoing project disposal requirements TfNSW will be responsible for coordinating the transport of all materials to the nominated disposal facility. Contractor Requirements Compliance with the Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2014, including Clause 71 relating to the application of the proximity principle for waste transportation Provision of a disposal facility assessed on value for money, regulatory compliance, and proximity to the project site Contract Terms and Conditions The project is scheduled to run from 13 September 2026 through to Friday, 25 June 2027 Access to the disposal facility will be required during weekday working hours throughout this period Enquiries Contact: Sayed Sadaat Email: sayed.sadaat@transport.nsw.gov.au
