About this tender
Overview Upper Lachlan Shire Council is calling for expressions of interest from experienced café and hospitality operators to lease the café within the newly built Crookwell Visitor Information Centre and swimming pool complex, a purpose-built, ready-to-trade space in the heart of town. Scope The scope includes: Operation of a café within the Crookwell Visitor Information Centre and swimming pool complex Provision of a commercial kitchen fit-out including range, ovens, cooktops, fridge, freezer, pie warmer, cake fridge and shelving Provision of tables and chairs, with the tenant to supply the coffee machine, POS, crockery, cutlery, glassware and other operating items Contract Terms and Conditions 3+2 year lease, with renewal option 7/6 trading days per week (summer/winter) Contractor Requirements Demonstrated experience in café or hospitality operations Required public liability, professional indemnity and workers compensation insurance Information Requested Proposed menu and service offering Proposed trading hours, meeting or exceeding minimum requirements Financial capacity, business model and proposed lease terms How to Apply Submissions open from Monday 24 August 2026 and close Tuesday 22 September 2026.
