Overview Liverpool City Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers to submit a Tender for the Construction of Scott Street - Memorial Avenue Streetscape Works, as outlined in this Request for Tender (RFT). Purpose The upgrade of Scott Street - Memorial Avenue, between Bigge Street and Bathurst Street, will strengthen key pedestrian links between Liverpool CBD and the residential areas outside Liverpool CBD. The upgrade will enhance pedestrian priority along the street, providing increased public domain area and landscaping, as well as opportunities for outdoor dining and other activities to support local businesses, universities, TAFE and schools. Council has sought funding from the NSW Government through the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program to carry out upgrades on Scott Street - Macquarie Avenue, between Bigge Street and Bathurst Street. Scope The Works tender is divided into four separable portions: Separable Portion 1: Streetscape Works on Memorial Avenue between Northumberland Street and Macquarie Street, and Scott Street between Macquarie Street and George Street Separable Portion 2: Streetscape Works on Memorial Avenue between Bathurst Street and Northumberland Street Separable Portion 3: Streetscape Works on Scott Street between George Street and Terminus Street (Only the Northern Side of the Footpath) Separable Portion 4: Streetscape Works on Scott Street between Terminus Street and Bigge Street Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers
