About this tender
Construction and upgrade of strategic fire trails within the Goonoo National Park and State Conservation Area to meet the Category 1 Fire Trail standards set by the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) Project goals The objective of this project is to renew and upgrade specific strategic fire trails within the Goonoo National Park and State Conservation Area to meet the Category 1 Fire Trail standards set by the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS). This initiative is part of the Fire Access Fire Trail (FAFT) Program. Scope This project will include civil works to renew and upgrade fire trails within Goonoo National Park and State Conservation Area. The total distance to be covered by these works will be approximately 55.5km and will utilise the existing fire trail footprint where possible. The fire trails are to be upgraded as per the guidelines set out in the Fire Trail Design, Construction and Maintenance Manual (Soil Conservation Service NSW, 2017). Refer to the RFT documents for the detailed scope of works.
