About this tender

Overview Bellingen Shire Council is seeking a contractor to undertake bulk earthworks for the Gordonville Cutting project, comprising slope excavation and stabilisation works and associated culvert works. Scope Key concept design features of the works include, but are not limited to: Excavation of Slope 14367 to restore geotechnical stability, generally featuring 11m high batters with a 1.5H:1V finished profile, 4.5m wide benches with a 10H:1V finished profile and partial width reinforced concrete lining, and surface protection in accordance with TfNSW G36, G38 and R178 Capacity upgrade of Culvert 576311, generally including construction of a temporary clean water diversion (if required), removal of the existing single cell DN900 reinforced concrete pipe culvert including inlet and outlet headwalls, installation of a new twin cell DN900 reinforced concrete pipe culvert including inlet and outlet headwalls, and installation of inlet and outlet scour protection Decommissioning of the DN600 reinforced concrete pipe culvert located at or around design chainage CH175 Removal of vegetation to the extent necessary to construct and operate the works is to be completed by others and is not part of the contractor's scope.
