Harvest Festival Funded EOI - 2027

Overview Central Coast Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from businesses, producers, tourism operators, community groups and event organisers to be part of Harvest Festival 2027. The festival will mark its 10th anniversary across the June Long Weekend, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June 2027. About Harvest Festival is a signature Central Coast event celebrating the region's rich agricultural heritage, local produce, businesses and community spirit across the Hinterland. Previous Harvest Festival events have attracted more than 69,000 visitors, helping to showcase local growers, producers, artisans, tourism operators and unique visitor experiences across the Central Coast Hinterland, injecting more than $8 million into the local economy. Eligibility EOIs are open to businesses, organisations and community groups that can deliver visitor-focused experiences as part of Harvest Festival 2027. Council is particularly interested in applications from: Central Coast Hinterland businesses and operators in Calga, Somersby, Mangrove Mountain, Peats Ridge, Kulnura, Wyong Creek, Yarramalong, Dooralong and Jilliby Local producers, growers, makers and artisans Tourism, hospitality and accommodation operators Community groups, event organisers and not-for-profit organisations Existing and past Harvest Festival participants Out-of-region businesses or experience providers that operate within the festival footprint or can deliver unique experiences that support the festival program Contractor Requirements Applications should help create a diverse, engaging and memorable festival program that showcases the people, produce, culture and natural beauty of the Central Coast Hinterland. EOIs will be assessed on how well the proposed activity or experience: Showcases the Central Coast Hinterland, including local produce, farms, landscapes, businesses, makers or visitor experiences Encourages community participation and creates a welcoming experience for visitors Adds variety, quality and appeal to the Harvest Festival 2027 program Supports visitation, including opportunities for visitors to stay longer or explore more of the region Can be delivered safely, professionally and in line with any relevant approvals, permits or legislation How to Apply Submitting an EOI does not guarantee inclusion in the Harvest Festival 2027 program Applicants are responsible for ensuring their activity or experience meets all relevant approvals, permits, safety requirements and legislation Applicants should check whether any agritourism requirements or other NSW Government legislation applies to their proposed activity Council may contact applicants for further information as part of the assessment process Successful applicants will be notified following the assessment period
