Overview Snowy Valleys Council invites tenders for the purchase of 3 impounded Dorset sheep, comprising 2 ewes and 1 ram, with no tags, brands or other identifying marks. The sheep are being offered for public tender in accordance with section 24(1) of the Impounding Act 1993. About The sheep have been wandering on public and private land for a number of months. Scope The scope includes: Purchase of 3 impounded Dorset sheep (2 ewes, 1 ram) Payment for the sheep Safe transport and collection of the sheep within 7 days of being notified Contractor Requirements Council must be satisfied that appropriate arrangements are in place for the safe transport and keeping of the sheep Contract Terms and Conditions The sheep are sold as-is and in their current condition Council makes no warranty regarding the health, age, breeding history, temperament, vaccination or pregnancy status of the sheep Inspection prior to tender is strongly recommended Instructions to Tenderers Written tenders referencing tender number SVC2026/17587 can be submitted at Council offices.
