Newcastle courthouse is a moderate-sized location which may run several jury trials concurrently. As such it requires meals for its jurors to be provided regularly and in a timely fashion. Project goals To provide cost-efficient, quality catering for jurors serving at Newcastle Courthouse (343 Hunter St). Meals will need to be freshly delivered to each location before 12:45 each day they are required. Scope Each jury meal order consists of the following: a) Individually wrapped sandwich for each juror for the first five (5) days of jury service, b) Individually wrapped hot meals for each juror from day six (6) onwards, c) A piece of fruit per juror or small fruit salad (100gms per juror) daily. Prepared meals are to be of bistro quality served in their entirety, in individually packaged containers that are labelled to describe the meal. Information concerning each meal, including those for the facilitation of special dietary requirements (dairy free, allergy-friendly [nut-free, shellfish-free and etcetera], gluten-free and vegetarian options), are to be clear from the labels on the packaging provided. The Supplier must provide the NSW Sheriff’s Office with a seasonally appropriate menu for sandwiches and prepared meals from which jurors can choose to vary their meals when empanelled for a long hearing. A menu should, as a minimum, list a choice of five meals or sandwiches across a five-day period. However, the Supplier will develop selections and rotation cycle in consultation with NSW Sheriff’s Office. Each menu should also provide jurors with a daily choice of a gluten free, vegetarian and dairy-free alternative. A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
