Minimum of 1 EL1 Test Manager

This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview Services Australia is seeking a minimum of 1 EL1 Test Manager to oversee the testing practice and manage the deployment of testing resources and testing approaches. The Role The role includes: Defining overall testing strategies and managing effective planning, monitoring and execution of all testing activities Performing objective assessments of software products to enable developers and managers to make appropriate corrective decisions Assisting with the implementation and definition of overall testing strategies Ensuring test activities are effectively planned, monitored, and completed in accordance with agreed test guidelines and business requirements Dealing with external software vendors as stakeholders Driving innovation and change in workplace practices, and organising work in the context of competing priorities and strategic direction Role Requirements EL1 Test Managers exercise a considerable degree of independence, with decision-making substantially dependent on their high-level judgement and consideration of wider agency implications Work is performed under the general guidance of senior staff Performance of a leadership role is required, including driving innovation and change in workplace practices Enquiries Buyer contact: ICT.PANEL.DMP@servicesaustralia.gov.au
