Minimum of 1 Program Manager

This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview Services Australia is seeking a minimum of one Program Manager to support the Automation and AI Assurance program of work. The Role Program Managers coordinate the delivery of multiple related projects and other change activities, which may include business-as-usual activities. Program Management professionals plan and undertake administration of a specific program, working under the broad direction of a Director, and are expected to optimise the effectiveness of programs in their area of responsibility. In performing a leadership role, they undertake strategic planning and drive innovation and changes in workplace practices, and play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role includes: Coordinating the delivery of multiple related projects and change activities within the Automation and AI Assurance program of work Providing program management, assurance and stakeholder coordination expertise to support safe, legal, ethical and responsible automation and AI initiatives across the agency Operating across technical, governance and specialist domains to identify risks, guide assurance activities and support informed executive decision-making Role Requirements The Program Manager must have the ability to: Research, analyse and make sound decisions using appropriate judgement Plan strategically and prioritise workload for self and teams to accomplish business outcomes Collaborate with other staff in immediate area and in other areas of the agency Oversee, manage and support staff Demonstrate knowledge of AI, data and digital transformation programs The successful candidate must have the ability to quickly gain knowledge and understanding of: Payments, programs and services administered by the agency Project and program management frameworks and policies Legislation, policies, procedures and information management requirements relevant to the work area The agency's privacy, ethics, workplace health and safety and security protocols Enquiries Buyer contact: ict.panel.dmp@servicesaustralia.gov.au
