Overview Transport for NSW (TfNSW) invites Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced tenderers to undertake the Collaborative Design and Construction (CD&C) of the Mona Vale Road West Upgrade. This is an open tender. About TfNSW is preparing the reference design, business case and feasibility studies for the Mona Vale Road Upgrade West project, located on Mona Vale Road between McCarrs Creek Road, Terrey Hills, and Powder Works Road, Ingleside, in the Northern Beaches Local Government Area. This project is jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Government. Scope The scope includes: Upgrade of approximately 3.7 kilometres of Mona Vale Road between McCarrs Creek Road and Powderworks Road, converting the current two lane road to a four lane divided road Investigation, design, construction, testing and commissioning of the project in accordance with the Contract, including the Scope of Works and Technical Criteria (SWTC) and the environmental documents Carrying out the works with the least possible disruption to traffic and access to nearby residences and businesses Contractor Requirements Contractor must be pre-qualified with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification Scheme, categories R4, B4 and F100 Design contractor must be prequalified under the relevant TfNSW Technical schemes, such as Drainage Investigation and Design, Complex Road Design, and Complex Bridge Design All tenderers must comply with the Transport Statement of Business Ethics throughout the procurement process and any subsequent contract period All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework, NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct, and the New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement The successful contractor must be accredited under the Australian Government Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme for 'building work' on this project at the time of entering into the contract, and must maintain that accreditation while the building work is being carried out Tender Briefing An EOI briefing will be held for this opportunity.
