Multiple Senior Cyber Operations Analyst

Overview The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is seeking multiple Senior Cyber Security Operations Analysts and multiple Junior Cyber Security Operations Analysts to support and strengthen the Department's Cyber Operations function. About The Cyber Operations team is experiencing increasing operational demands across cyber security monitoring, investigations, incident response, vulnerability management, operational improvement activities and investigative support. Purpose These roles will provide additional capability to ensure the Department can effectively identify, investigate and respond to cyber security incidents, policy breaches, vulnerabilities and other operational security matters. The Role Successful candidates will work collaboratively with cyber security engineers, senior cyber security personnel, managed service providers and existing Cyber Operations analysts, contributing to the delivery and continuous improvement of operational cyber security services within a Microsoft-centric environment. The roles will have a strong focus on the use of Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview, to support security monitoring, threat detection, investigation and incident response activities.
