About this tender
Overview The City of Wagga Wagga is seeking a contractor to carry out the refurbishment of the existing stage and orchestra pit at the Civic Theatre. Scope The scope includes: Refurbishment of the existing stage and orchestra pit at the Civic Theatre Supply and installation of new floor finishes and stage components Installation of new lighting and associated electrical works Carpeting the orchestra pit with commercial-grade carpet tiles Replacing stair carpet to match the existing finish Installing compliant emergency signage Supplying and installing new stage traps Providing recessed LED stage-edge lighting and illuminated stair lighting Carrying out all electrical works in full compliance with relevant Australian Standards and legislative requirements Site Inspection A second site inspection will be held to allow subcontractors and prospective contractors who were unable to attend the initial pre-tender briefing to view the site and gain a firsthand understanding of the works required. Date: Wednesday, 2 September 2026 Time: 11:00 am Meeting Point: Main Entrance, Civic Theatre, Burns Way off Tarcutta Street, Wagga Wagga NSW 2650 This is not a formal pre-tender briefing, and questions regarding the tender or scope of works cannot be answered during the inspection.
