Overview Bourke Shire Council invites tenders for the preparation of the Wanaaring Flood Study and Floodplain Risk Management Plan. Scope The scope includes: Preparation of the Wanaaring Flood Study Preparation of the Wanaaring Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan (FRMS&P) Objectives The primary objectives of the FRMS&P are to: Define and assess flood behaviour and associated flood risks Evaluate the impacts of flooding on the community and critical infrastructure Review the adequacy of existing Council planning and development controls for flood-prone land Identify and assess feasible flood risk management measures Develop a comprehensive Floodplain Risk Management Plan (FRMP) to guide future floodplain management and land-use decision making Instructions to Tenderers Request for quotation documents may be downloaded following online registration from www.tenderlink.com/bourkeshire. Submissions must be completely uploaded as PDF files into the electronic tender box at www.tenderlink.com/bourkeshire. Canvassing of any Council members or officers will disqualify tenderers from the tender process.
