Receival, Processing and Recycling of Civil Construction Waste

Overview Liverpool City Council invites tenderers to submit a quotation for the Receival, Processing and Recycling of Civil Construction Waste, in accordance with the attached Conditions of Contract and Specification and other documents forming part of the Request for Tender (RFT). About Liverpool is fast becoming Sydney's third CBD as the Gateway City to Western Sydney Airport. Its current population of almost 250,000 is estimated to reach over 300,000 by 2030. Liverpool City Council is leading the community through a period of rapid change and growth towards a more dynamic city centre with a vibrant night-time economy. Scope The services include, but are not limited to: Receival of Civil Construction Waste at a licensed facility Weighing, classification, and recording of incoming materials Processing, including crushing, screening, and sorting Recovery of recyclable materials Lawful disposal of residual waste Supply of recycled materials to Council, if required Provision of data, reporting, and audit access Council generates Civil Waste through its construction activities, which is then taken to a facility for recycling and disposal of residue. Civil Construction Waste may include, but is not limited to: Concrete (reinforced/unreinforced) Asphalt Bricks and masonry Excavated materials (VENM/ENM where applicable) Mixed construction and demolition materials Contaminated materials, as identified at point of delivery Instructions to Tenderers Offers must be completely uploaded as PDF files (unless another format is specified by Council for a particular document) into the electronic tender box by the closing time. Council recommends allowing sufficient time to lodge your offer and all supporting documents and attachments, as late submissions will not be accepted after the closing time. Tenderers should also consider the number and size of documents, as these may take time to process and upload. Tenderers will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated upon completion.
