Overview Willoughby City Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the complete renewal of two (2) existing passenger lifts at 31 Victor Street, Chatswood NSW 2067. Scope The scope includes: Complete renewal of the existing lift equipment for two (2) passenger lifts, together with all associated works required to comply with current regulatory, statutory and code requirements Retention of all static components such as the rails, counterweights and car superstructure, with replacement of only the moving parts and electronic/electrical components, as detailed in Appendix 1, Preliminary (SOW), PN222 Technical Specification_Rev02250526 Delivery of the project as a turn-key solution under the sole management and coordination of the Lift Contractor Decommissioning and removal of redundant equipment Supply of all materials and equipment Installation, commissioning, testing and certification of the new lift systems Meeting compliance requirements and providing handover documentation Defects liability obligations for the installed equipment Delivery of fully operational and compliant lift systems (refer to Section 4.2 for the detailed scope of works) Planning, coordination and delivery of the works within an occupied and operational building, ensuring safety and minimising disruption to staff, visitors and building operations Maintaining one operational lift at all times during the works to preserve building access and continuity of operations Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in the renewal and installation of passenger lift systems Capable of delivering the project as a turn-key solution under sole management and coordination Ability to deliver new lift systems that are fully compliant, reliable, energy efficient, and suitable for long-term operation and maintenance Tender Briefing A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held for this opportunity.
