About this tender

Overview Woollahra Municipal Council is seeking quotations for waste management and cleaning services within Council parks and adjoining areas on New Year's Eve 2026 and New Year's Day 2027, to ensure the parks are kept to a high standard over the New Year period. Scope Council requires most of these services to be carried out on New Year's Eve to reduce the workload on the following day. The scope includes: Cleaning of specified parks, including removal of all rubbish, litter, bottle tops, and cigarette butts, with Council park bins emptied by the waste contractor on the night Cleaning services for permanent park toilets and 45 portable toilets (42 regular portable toilets and 3 accessible toilets, in locations as per the attached site maps), including checking all portable toilets at least once per hour, cleaning toilets and floors where necessary, and advising the Council representative immediately of any toilet functioning issues that cannot be solved by the cleaning team Supply and replenishment of amenity items in permanent park toilets and portable toilets, such as toilet paper, ensuring sufficient suitable supplies are available so that toilet paper does not run out (Council to advise portable toilet models and toilet paper specifications) Provision of cleaning services throughout the night to reduce the workload on New Year's Day Provision of waste bins as per specification Provision of collection vehicles to remove waste Tipping costs will be paid by Council. Contract Terms and Conditions All cleaning work must cease no later than 2:00am on New Year's Day and must not commence again prior to 6:00am on New Year's Day Parks will be open to the public for general use on New Year's Day and must be clean of all litter, bottle tops, broken glass, and similar debris as early as practicable to ensure they are safe for public use Information Requested The quote should include separate costings for the individual parks and for each service provided for that park.
