Roof Safe Access Systems - Defence Establishment Orchard Hills Redevelopment

The Department of Defence plans to undertake a major investment in Defence Establishment Orchard Hills (DEOH). Hansen Yuncken Pty Ltd (HY) has been engaged by the Commonwealth Government to undertake the role of Managing Contractor for the Explosive Ordnance Facilities Northern NSW redevelopment works at Defence Establishment Orchard Hills (DEOH). DEOH is approximately 9km south of Penrith and 55km west of the Sydney CBD. The site has been in use as a training facility and other purposes since the 1940s. The works to be undertaken are to the Base support services consisting of new build facilities, refurbishment works to select buildings and associated upgrades to Base infrastructure to facilitate these enhancements. It is currently estimated for the works to be carried out over a 3 1/2-year period via direct trade contracting by HY on behalf of the Commonwealth Government. The project comes under requirements of select Commonwealth policies for projects of this category inclusive of the Indigenous Procurement Policy, Australian Skills Guarantee Procurement Connected Policy and Environmentally Sustainable Procurement Policy. Therefore, all procurement will consider compliance with these policies when assessing trade contractor offers. Following completion of the Project questions on the ICN Network (in full) as well as completion and submission of the Invitation to Register Interest (ITR) document provided for download on the platform; your expression of Interest (EOI) submission will be assessed by HY for the works and Tender Shortlist prepared base on the weighting strategy nominated in the ITR document. If you are successful in being shortlisted, you will be contacted directly by HY and invited to participate in a competitive Invitation to Tender for that works element.
