Shoalhaven Beach Scraping & Dune Recovery – Southern Region

Overview Shoalhaven City Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified civil engineering/construction contractors to undertake nature assisted beach enhancement (NABE/beach scraping) at three high-priority beaches located in the southern region of the Local Government Area. Scope The scope includes: Undertaking one beach scraping campaign at Narrawallee Beach Undertaking one beach scraping campaign at Mollymook Beach Undertaking one beach scraping campaign at Ulladulla Harbour Information Requested Contractors are to provide a detailed methodology for the beach scraping works that gives consideration to the site-specific requirements for each location. Quotations must specify the following items within the detailed methodology: Proposed access location to the beach Number of days per scraping event, and total number of hours per day assumed Machinery proposed for each location
