Overview The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (NSW) is seeking a contractor to undertake the Snow Ridge Road (KNP5) CH50.8km Stabilisation Project in Kosciuszko National Park. Purpose The objective of this project is to stabilise the embankment at the site and reinstate the road to two lane conditions, without restrictions, to return the risk profile to road users at the site to normal conditions and mitigate safety risks. Scope The scope includes: Providing works methodology, program, WHS and environmental plans for the works Mobilising to the site and establishing safety and environmental controls Removing vegetation from the slope and associated works area and scaling the slope of loose soil and rocks Installing rock bolting, horizontal drains, mesh and slope drainage as per design Installing a mass block wall (Design Option 1) Shotcreting the slope down to mass block wall level (Design Option 1) Shotcreting the slope down to road level (Design Option 2) Cleaning the site and demobilisation Refer to the RFT documents for the comprehensive scope of works.
