About this tender
Overview The University of Wollongong (UOW) is seeking information from qualified suppliers to better understand the range of laundry service solutions available for student accommodation environments across its residential portfolio. The University has not determined a preferred operating model and welcomes information on innovative approaches that enhance student experience, service reliability, operational efficiency and sustainability. About UOW Residential Accommodation comprises approximately 2,200 beds across multiple residence locations, supported by more than 50 washing machines and 50 dryers. Occupancy rates across residences consistently exceed 90%, demonstrating high utilisation and demand for laundry services. Purpose This RFI is intended to inform future procurement activities and market engagement. No preferred solution or service model has been identified at this stage. Information Requested Suppliers are invited to provide information on: Laundry service operating models and commercial arrangements Technology platforms, payment systems and digital user experiences Maintenance, support and equipment management approaches Sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities Experience delivering laundry services within universities, student accommodation, residential communities or similar environments
